The Olloclip for IPhone

The Olloclip is an attachment for the IPhone 4/4S/5 and IPod Touch 4th generation. What the Olloclip does is lets your IPhone/IPod Touch's camera have fisheye, wide-angle, and macro lens. The Olloclip is easy to put on and take off. This camera lens is good because it has three different lens. The fisheye is a 180 degree lens that reduces the scale in the edges. The wide-angle lens has a wider view then normal view. Macro lens is a lens suitable for taking photographs unusually close to the object. With the same HD view then an IPhone the Olloclip is a great tool for a photographer and it's so simple to use. The competing brand "The Photojojo Phone Lens Series" works with almost all phones and cost less but these are magnetic so the camera lens might fall of more and people say that magnets drain the battery of anything.

Retro Games v. Modern Games

By: Johnny and Emmanuel
The new modern games such as "New Super Mario Bros. U" are just remakes of old retro games like "Mario Bros." for the NES. If the creators of all the old games just remade them then sell the games for even more. All the new games you play now a days you need stuff with it like with "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" you to buy a Wii remote or a Gamecube controller. Most of the games today are rated M fast pace 1st person shooter and they cost so much for an Xbox 360. It would cost $200 plus a game for $44 and if you want a friend to play with an extra controller $40 more so at the end you would pay $284 plus tax. Some of the games to the right cost money but there pretty cool because you can download on your IPhone or IPod Touch and take it any where so you don't have to play it just at home you can play it on the go or at home. ~Johnny

When you think of retro anything, you most likely think of something old, and that's just what some games are, old. Video games are everywhere; in movies, at homes, and places dedicated to just games, even your smart phone. But where did it all start? The first game created was made back in 1947, the game was made to recreate tennis, the game was called "Tennis for Two' and the game was not like games today, it looked like a laser being shot at a piece of paper, instead of light coming from an LCD screen. The retro games most people remember hearing about would be NES classics, such as Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda. But the NES wasn't the only console of course, there were other consoles made by Sega, the creators of Sonic, made multiple consoles. they made the Sega dreamcast and the all time classic, the Sega Genesis. But home wasn't the only place where you can play games, there were arcades and handheld devices back in the 70s too. one of the first handheld games was brought to you by the same people who made Twister and the game of Life. Milton Bradley(c) created the Microvision, a small, TV remote sized game that only had a small selection of games, and the games were actually not on discs or cartridges, but a removable case for the console, it was much like putting a new case on your iPhone. But if you wanted  to play games on a bigger screen, you can go to the arcades. Coin operated machines, or coin-op machines, started popping up in your favorite pizza parlors around the early 70s, but sadly died down around the mid 90s. Coin-op machines included pinball machines, games such as PacMan, and even claw machines. Although coin-op machines seem rare, people collect them, and new ones are still made, such as Terminator: Salvation, which came out in 2010. So you decide what you prefer. ~ Emmanuel

Good Journalism

I learned that back when the internet was just becoming popular the news was just getting better in every way.

I wonder if back then how they found pictures of cats and what news would be in 20 years.

I still want to how the people got the news in 1997.

Couple Uses 59,670 Pennies For Floor Remodel
It took four months to glue every penny together and sanded the pennies to a thin, smooth, copper plate that they glued to there floor. They estimated $1000 spent on this floor remodel, which made alot of trips back and forth from the bank to there home only asking for pennies. Since they used an estimated amount of 59,670 pennies then of course they found some rares like a 1944 WWII 440 steel penny that was created due to a copper shortage, and a 1873 penny featuring an Indian head instead of Abraham Lincoln. Apperently both the pennies were enough to pay for the floor but they were both but on the floor and made it a fun party game to try to find the rare pennies. The floor was 380 square-feet room so just think about how hard it was to find 2 special pennies out of 59,670 (pretty hard). The couple has been posting the photos on their social media accounts and created a blog called ThePennyFloor.com about the project.

12-Foot Boulder Crashes Into Utah Woman's Bedroom
A woman in Utah woke up with a 12 foot boulder, in her bedroom.  Wanda Denhalter, age 63, was home alone when the 12 foot boulder came crashing down in her bedroom, breaking her jaw and sternum, and leaving a giant gash on her leg. Wanda’s husband, Scot, said "I guess she heard the rumbling as it came down the hill and woke up, she rolled away from the oncoming noise to my side of the bed. If she had decided to swing her legs over the side of the bed and get up to investigate, it would have killed her." Despite how badly injured she was, she still was able to stumble out of bed and call 911. Scot admits to feeling guilty he wasn’t there. Scot predicts the reason for the boulder falling could have been water eroding the bottom of the rock, although the police could not find an exact reason for the boulder falling. Wanda has been recovering in the hospital as of Tuesday the 22nd of January.

Ms.K's Blood Project

Ms.K is having students make a poster about the blood circulation. In this project you will get graded on the song, how everyone works together, and of course art.  The main part I would in the project and probably the hardest is the planning like you would need to get everyone's phone number and meet somewhere to discuss it. The song would be really fun to watch people sing about the curculatory system but the best part is that Ms.K will be filming it. Some of the people will have there song and poster be put on KTLR. You had to work with 3 or 4 people, Ms.K would not tolorate 2 or less people.

Project Shield by Nvidia

Project Shield is a gaming console that has a 5" inch screen with 1280x720 HD that could fold in and out. The "Shield" also has direct touch display and the highest resolution and pixel density for great gaming and watching movies. YES! You could watch movies and on Hulu Plus, Youtube , and even Netflix on the "Shield". When it acts like an Android you could get some of your favourite apps like Dead Trigger 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 4 episode 2. The "Shield" also has apps from Google Play and NVIDIA Tegra-Zone. Yet still a little small, but great quality great for gaming. With a cover to protect it on the back.

The "Shield" can access your computer but only a certain type of computer it could access wirelessly but without it you will need a wire or a really good wifi connection. You can many games from Steam on PC to an Android and since the "Shield" is so portable you can bring your favorite games anywhere like Borderlands 2 or even Skyrim. The shield is pretty much a Xbox controller with a touch screen tablet on it with the most updated Android Jelly Bean service.

The "Shield has a custom audio system and a bass-reflex never before experienced on a portable device. If you hook the "Shield" to your HDTV then the sound quality will be the same actually maybe even better. The sound dosen't go that high on the "Shield" so I think it would be better if you hook it to the HDTV.
Play Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 on your Project SHIELD portable game player.
As my friend Trey puts it "It's like a Nintendo DS and an Xbox controller had a beautiful baby."

Sahil, a student, says "It is really cool, really advanced, and really want one."

Journalistic Interview

What is an Interview
An interview is something that you do to get information out of someone about something. If I did an interview about the massacre that happened on Friday I would interview a person that knows about not just some random person that didn't hear about it yet.

Journalistic Interview
An interview is just asking a person about a subject but a journalistic interview because you record them by writing or something. Then you would
