Couple Uses 59,670 Pennies For Floor Remodel
It took four months to glue every penny together and sanded the pennies to a thin, smooth, copper plate that they glued to there floor. They estimated $1000 spent on this floor remodel, which made alot of trips back and forth from the bank to there home only asking for pennies. Since they used an estimated amount of 59,670 pennies then of course they found some rares like a 1944 WWII 440 steel penny that was created due to a copper shortage, and a 1873 penny featuring an Indian head instead of Abraham Lincoln. Apperently both the pennies were enough to pay for the floor but they were both but on the floor and made it a fun party game to try to find the rare pennies. The floor was 380 square-feet room so just think about how hard it was to find 2 special pennies out of 59,670 (pretty hard). The couple has been posting the photos on their social media accounts and created a blog called ThePennyFloor.com about the project.

12-Foot Boulder Crashes Into Utah Woman's Bedroom
A woman in Utah woke up with a 12 foot boulder, in her bedroom.  Wanda Denhalter, age 63, was home alone when the 12 foot boulder came crashing down in her bedroom, breaking her jaw and sternum, and leaving a giant gash on her leg. Wanda’s husband, Scot, said "I guess she heard the rumbling as it came down the hill and woke up, she rolled away from the oncoming noise to my side of the bed. If she had decided to swing her legs over the side of the bed and get up to investigate, it would have killed her." Despite how badly injured she was, she still was able to stumble out of bed and call 911. Scot admits to feeling guilty he wasn’t there. Scot predicts the reason for the boulder falling could have been water eroding the bottom of the rock, although the police could not find an exact reason for the boulder falling. Wanda has been recovering in the hospital as of Tuesday the 22nd of January.
